Carpenter for island top projects – start immediately Would you like to build something different from an apartment building, week after week? We are looking for an experienced carpenter for our client, working on high-quality new builds and renovations in the most beautiful settings of the archipelago. Work can start immediately or as agreed upon as soon as possible. The projects mainly involve small holiday cottages, leisure homes, and other high-end wooden structures. The sites are primarily located in the Archipelago of Southwest Finland, but there are also projects elsewhere in Finland. Transportation to the sites is arranged in advance, so your task is to focus on what you do best – construction. In this role, you will perform a variety of carpentry tasks from framing to finishing. The workdays are varied, and the environment changes with each site. If you enjoy working on smaller projects, value quality craftsmanship, and want to see the finished result, this could be the perfect position for you. Requirements: * Several years of experience in carpentry * Experience in new construction and/or renovation projects * Good ability to read blueprints * Ability to work independently * Experience in timber construction * Fluent Finnish language skills * Willingness to work on archipelago sites Having your own tools is a plus but not essential. Use of tools is compensated according to the collective agreement.
