AI & Software Architect

Hands-on AI & Software Architect role at Greip IP Solutions Oy (part of Berggren konserni). You will build AI features and software architecture for a compact, agile product development and expert team. You will work closely with the team and the CTO on architectural directions and AI development. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing new AI features, integrating language models, RAG and search solutions, agents and automation, developing AI, software and integration architecture, performing experiments and deploying working solutions to production, actively participating in practical software development, supporting the development team, and communicating technical solutions to stakeholders. The goal is to create secure, scalable, and maintainable AI-enhanced SaaS solutions that deliver real customer value. You will evaluate and develop how different AI solutions can be used in requirements definition, technical design, testing, reviews and quality assurance, documentation, coding and other daily development tasks to reduce repetitive work, speed up feedback cycles and improve quality. The role requires strong experience with modern software development in a Microsoft environment, hands-on coding and software architecture experience, practical experience with AI, data or language-model solutions, understanding of security, quality, performance and cost, experience with test automation, CI/CD practices and software lifecycle, ability to align customer, business and technology needs, and excellent communication in Finnish and English. Preferred experience with generative AI, RAG, AI agents, integrations, AI-assisted software development and security-critical environments.
