Full-time Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry Teacher at Kajaani Upper Secondary School - Kajaanin kaupunki - Kajaani, Finland

A temporary position for a full-time teacher of mathematics, physics, and chemistry is available in basic education in the city of Kajaani at Kajaani Upper Secondary School from August 10, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The position is a substitute role and includes class supervisor duties. The school also hosts mathematics classes, special education classes, flexible basic education, and preparatory education classes. The salary for qualified teachers of grades 7-9 is €3,220.91 per month. Qualifications include a valid teaching qualification in basic education for mathematics, physics, and chemistry (as per the requirements for education personnel, regulation no 986/1998). Certificates demonstrating qualifications will be reviewed during the interview process. If qualified candidates are not available, other applicants will be considered. Interviews may be conducted during the application period. Priority will be given to employees of Kajaani city who are on furlough or have had employment interrupted, provided they meet the qualification requirements.
