Job Description
A care provider assists and supports elderly individuals living at home. Tasks may include domestic chores (laundry, cleaning), cooking, enabling outdoor activities and exercise, supporting errands, shopping either with the client or independently, recreational activities, companionship, etc. The tasks are non-nursing. We are looking for a warm, empathetic, reliable person to do meaningful work. Applicant's credit information will be checked. A criminal record extract is required for work with elderly people. References are required. A criminal record extract based on the background check for work with elderly and disabled persons (741/2023) is required.
