Youth Worker - Mäntsälän kunta - Remote - Global

Mäntsälän kunta is seeking a youth worker for a six-month fixed-term position in youth services from September 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027, or as agreed. The role involves coordinating the Finnish model of hobbies and developing cultural youth work. The youth worker will promote well-being, participation, and recreational opportunities for children and youth in collaboration with schools, cultural services, associations, and other partners. Responsibilities include organizing activities, quality development, ensuring accessibility, reporting, and managing projects and grants. The role emphasizes collaboration with basic education and hobby organizers, and developing cultural youth work by promoting creative activities such as arts, music, media, and events. The youth worker will also strengthen youth participation, participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating youth services, and work with youth councils. The position requires a suitable higher education degree or equivalent, experience in youth work, hobbies, cultural work, or school cooperation, and good communication and networking skills. The role is full-time, 38.25 hours/week, with a salary of 2933.99 EUR/month plus experience-based supplements.
