Job Description
Schmalz Oy Ab, a Finnish subsidiary of the German Schmalz Group, is responsible for selling and marketing the group's products in Finland. The products include vacuum technology components, vacuum grippers, and lifting aids for handling, transferring, and processing parts. To implement the company's growth strategy, a new regional sales manager is being recruited for the Uusimaa region. Your task is to sell vacuum technology components to machine and equipment manufacturers and to provide solution sales of lifting aids to end-users, including manufacturing industries and logistics companies, among others, involving: Planning and executing customer meetings, acquiring new customers, serving existing customers, preparing quotations, following up on quotes and closing deals, participating in trade shows domestically. You will: Have a permanent employment contract in a financially stable and reputable company, receive thorough onboarding in Finland and Germany, get continuous technical support from the headquarters in Germany, sell industry-leading products, manage existing customer relationships, have good opportunities to expand your customer base and increase current sales, receive a fixed monthly salary of €4,000-€5,300, depending on education and experience, earn sales bonuses, benefit from a company car, have access to comprehensive occupational health services, enjoy other employment benefits, have the possibility to work partly remotely on office days. Requirements include: Active approach to sales work in customer-facing roles, willingness to travel within your sales area, at least a Polytechnic degree in a technical field, minimum of 5 years of experience in technical field sales, fluent written and spoken Finnish and English, CRM skills and experience with MS Office programs, at least a B driving license. Preferred but not mandatory: knowledge of additional languages. You can succeed in this role if you are: proactive, anticipative, and organized, good at communicating with different people, skilled at networking, punctual and reliable, entrepreneurial and motivated by good results, curious to understand customer needs, good at solving potential customer problems.
