At Parmaco, we believe that buildings should be as flexible as the communities they serve. We are transforming society with dynamic architecture – adaptable, movable, and based on circular economy principles, buildings that evolve with their users. We are currently seeking a construction designer / architect to design spaces that adapt to their users and communities. In this role, you will help create Parmaco's dynamic architecture in practice: flexible, movable, and sustainable building solutions for example for schools, daycares, health centers, care homes, and offices. As a construction designer, you will be responsible for architectural design from concept to detailed design. You will prepare architectural plans, drawings, presentation materials, and other design documentation, as well as produce and coordinate IFC models for the building permit phase. You will ensure that designs meet user needs, building regulations, project goals, and Parmaco’s design principles. Your work will focus on solutions that are not limited to a single purpose or lifecycle. They must function now, adapt later, and endure over time and reuse. You will also have the opportunity to influence the development of design practices. You will participate in developing design libraries, templates, and standardized solutions, and generate new ideas to improve building usability, flexibility, sustainability, and cost-efficiency. When needed, you will support the tender and project implementation phases as an architectural expert. You will work as part of a ten-person architecture team and collaborate closely with colleagues in structural and element design, sales, production, procurement, and project management. Your office can be located in Tampere or Espoo, depending on your choice.
