Job Description

Tampere City Transport Ltd provides high-quality regional public transport services in accordance with sustainable development principles, flexibly, economically, and safely. We are a 100% Tampere City owned company. Tampere City Transport Ltd is responsible for about one-third of Tampere region's bus services with approximately 300 employees. We are now seeking a **ADMINISTRATION AND COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST** for a permanent position in Tampere. As an administration and communications specialist, you will be responsible for internal and external communication of city transport as well as various administrative tasks. Your duties include informing staff, media monitoring, and managing social media channels. You will update and develop the intranet and website, producing content for different channels. You will ensure overall brand and reputation-aligned communication. You will support the organization in streamlining administrative processes, managing documents, and updating guidelines. You will assist the entire staff with communication matters and development of operational practices. You will also act as secretary to the management team. The ideal candidate is proactive and organized, with a desire and interest in handling multiple tasks and serving the entire staff together with the administration team. **We expect from you:** - Good experience in communication and administrative tasks - Appropriate education (e.g., Bachelor of Business Administration, Media Studies) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Good command of tools (Microsoft 365, Teams, Canva or similar, intranet, WordPress, social media channels) - Organizational skills and responsible work attitude - Good Finnish and English language skills - Good cooperation and interaction skills **We offer:** a place with a close-knit and encouraging team that is easy to join. The work is based on a hybrid model, with an expectation of presence at the Nekala office 34 days a week.
