Waste Management Worker - Biisoni Tampere Oy - Jyväskylä, Finland

We are currently looking for a Waste Management Worker for our client in Jyväskylä at Sairaala Nova on a fixed-term contract. In this versatile and responsible role, you will become part of the waste management team at Sairaala Nova, part of the Central Finland Wellbeing Area. Your work will include various waste management tasks, such as conducting waste rounds on the hospital grounds, transferring, packing, and labeling non-hazardous and hazardous waste. Additionally, your duties will include ordering waste pickups and collection containers. The position is full-time, with working hours varying on weekdays between 7:00 and 17:00. We hope you have skills in identifying and packing waste, and are prepared to work independently and carefully in a hospital environment. Previous experience in waste or recycling tasks is an advantage, but the most important qualities are a proactive attitude and willingness to learn. The job is suitable if you are initiative-taking, precise, responsible, enjoy being active, and value a clean and safe working environment. We also appreciate a customer-oriented approach and good social skills. In this role, you will be part of an important chain ensuring smooth and safe waste management at the hospital every day. The selected candidate must pass an approved pre-employment health check, which includes a drug test.
