Job Description
You will be part of multidisciplinary mental health and substance abuse unit teams in your area, supporting both the teams and primary care physicians. The work combines direct patient care and electronic consultation activities in the Turku region. You will primarily work at the Central Mental Health and Substance Abuse Unit, with some consultation work at the Pansion MIEPA unit. Some work can be done remotely. You will be part of a developing operation and do impactful expert work that combines clinical practice and consultative roles in primary mental health and substance abuse services. You can utilize your psychiatric expertise in various ways. The possibility of partial remote work provides flexibility in work and work-life balance. Qualifications include licensure under the Act on Healthcare Professionals 559/94 and rights to practice as a specialist in a relevant field. Language skills required are good oral and written Finnish and satisfactory oral and written Swedish. Good Swedish language skills are considered an advantage, as is a psychotherapy qualification.
