Job Description
We are now looking for a Doctoral Researcher (PhD Student) to join us in Entrepreneurship Research in Kerttu Saalasti Institute, University of Oulu. The position is fixed-term for three years, focusing on empirical and theoretical contributions to entrepreneurship research and policy using GEM survey data. The candidate will pursue a doctoral degree in management or economics, working in a research environment that combines academic research and analysis of the entrepreneurship ecosystem. Responsibilities include leading independent research, analyzing GEM survey data, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and participating in seminars and conferences. The position offers flexible work arrangements, access to doctoral training, and benefits such as sports and culture. Requirements include a master's degree with high grades, interest in quantitative research, and excellent English skills. Finnish language skills are an advantage.
