A skilled MIG/MAG welder for a machine shop environment We are looking for a skilled and careful MIG/MAG welder for our client, a significant subcontractor in shipbuilding and process industry. You will work in the client's modern machine shop facilities, where high-quality prefabricates, structures, and equipment parts are manufactured for shipyards and industry. Please note that although the end products often end up on ships, the work is performed entirely in a machine shop environment, not at a shipyard. Your tasks include: * MIG/MAG welding of various ship and industrial structures, such as modules and prefabricates * Structural bracing and assembly * Independent work based on technical drawings and work instructions * Quality assurance of your work and ensuring dimensional accuracy We hope applicants have: * Solid practical experience in MIG/MAG welding in a machine shop or industrial environment * Proficiency in reading drawings; able to carry out work independently from start to finish * Experience handling different material thicknesses and basic knowledge of materials * Precise, responsible, and quality-oriented work attitude * Valid welding certifications and experience with thin sheet metals or heavier steel structures are considered an advantage We offer: * Permanent and long-term employment in a tidy machine shop environment * Opportunity to work as part of a professional team on significant industrial projects * At least collective agreement-based salary or better depending on your skills and experience * Your own contact person to assist you in all situations The employment relationship is initially with WE Rekry.
