Job Description
Your tasks You will work at Liinahaka 2, which is part of a group home complex in the Vätin district of Turku. Each group home accommodates 12 elderly and multi-illness residents who require round-the-clock care in a safe and homelike environment. As a registered nurse, you will act as a responsible care expert and work with a resident-centered approach, supporting the resident's functional capacity. You will be responsible for medication and health-related care, as well as comprehensive nursing work. Your work includes basic and medication care according to care plans, as well as assessing functional capacity and care needs. You will collaborate closely with the unit's doctor and other team members. The unit also hosts many students in the field, and you will participate in their guidance. Daily work also involves cooperation with relatives and respecting residents' self-determination. Ergonomic aids are available, and resident and work safety are central to daily work.
