Summer Worker for Family Work (Bachelor of Social Services) - Rieku Oy, Fieteri Avopalvelut - Tampere, Finland

In our small but energetic team in Tampere, we are looking for additional staff to provide quality family work in a part-time role. We are seeking a family worker for a fixed-term employment as a part-time worker to cover summer vacations of family workers (working hours between June 1, 2026, and August 13, 2026, 50-100%, with the possibility to start working already in May). Our goal is to find a long-term part-time employee, with employment continuation assessed based on workload. Qualification requirement: Bachelor of Social Services (AMK). You will perform family work through customer orders and participate in individual and professionally strengthening meetings. As a family worker, you support and encourage children, young people, mothers, and fathers with everyday challenges and participate in engaging and motivating work. The work is based on listening to clients and families, respectful treatment, and supporting participation. The work is done alone and with a partner, but always in close collaboration with the team. At our workplace, you can work with your personality and utilize your diverse skills and interests in your work. We consider each employee's special skills in our work. You have the opportunity to build your schedule together with your supervisor by agreeing and creating client appointments, taking into account both parties' needs and wishes. We hope you already have experience in child protection or social welfare outpatient services, and preferably have gained experience in self-directed work and have worked as part of a team, practicing professional skills related to the job. Suitable additional training, such as trauma or neurodiversity expertise, is considered an advantage. We also expect you to have the possibility to use your own car.
