We are looking for a nurse for a temporary position until July 31, 2027, in the multidisciplinary team of the surgical department at Ahvenisto Hospital in Hämeenlinna. We care for both emergency and elective patients. The work involves three-shift rotations, as the department is open every day of the year. You can start immediately or as agreed. Previous experience in surgical nursing is appreciated, but we also welcome newcomers with the right attitude. A licensed nursing degree is required. We moved to Ahvenisto Hospital in March 2026. The facilities are spacious, and we have new technology to support our work. The hospital is well connected by public transport. There is a parking garage and a locked bicycle storage, with a short walk from the old hospital yard parking areas. The salary for this position is €2977.75/month. In addition, experience-based pay ranging from 3% to 8% is paid. The length of service also affects the accrual of vacation days. In direct patient and customer work, vaccination against infectious diseases as required by section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act and a tuberculosis certificate as per section 55 are mandatory.
