Substitute for Special Class Teacher - Kivijärven kunta - Kivijärvi, Finland

The municipality of Kivijärvi is seeking a special class teacher for the modern Tainionmäki School, which has up-to-date teaching facilities and resources. All students from grades 0 to 9 in our municipality attend Tainionmäki School, and the selected teacher will be responsible for teaching in collaboration with other staff and stakeholders. The position is temporary and begins on August 24, 2026, or as agreed. The temporary employment ends on December 31, 2026. We are looking for a special class teacher who will provide instruction in a small group for special education. To fulfill the teaching duties of a special class teacher, the role also includes teaching provided by a special education support teacher in a group-specific setting alongside other instruction. Salary and employment terms are determined according to OVTES. The qualifications for a special class teacher are based on the decree on the qualifications of education personnel (986/98). In the absence of qualified applicants, non-qualified candidates will also be considered. The position is subject to a two (2) month probation period. The selected candidate must, before the appointment is confirmed, submit a satisfactory medical certificate and a criminal record extract issued within 30 days of the decision notification, in accordance with Act No. 504/2002.
