Cloud Engineer I - IFS - Remote - Global

IFS Softeon is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team and play a key role in managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and a strong background in infrastructure automation, security and performance optimization. A valid AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator certification is required for this role. Key Responsibilities include designing, building, and managing cloud infrastructure using platforms like AWS, Azure, or similar; implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar; monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency; collaborating with development, DevOps, and security teams to implement cloud-native architectures and CI/CD processes; monitoring cloud systems for performance, availability, and cost-efficiency; enforcing cloud governance, compliance, and security best practices; supporting clients by troubleshooting and resolving issues across cloud environments and applications; maintaining documentation for infrastructure architecture and procedures. The role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence three days a week in Reston, VA.
