Job Description
We are seeking an experienced expert in digital development and IT to play a key role in renewing the supervisory systems and data entities of the Financial Supervisory Authority. Join us in enhancing the stability and impact of financial markets in a socially significant role! We are looking for A SENIOR EXPERT for the Supervisory Technologies department in Helsinki. Your core responsibilities include acting as the product owner and project manager for development and renewal projects related to supervisory systems and data entities. You will be responsible for defining the goals of development entities, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring successful implementation from a supervisory perspective. The role emphasizes leading development work in accordance with agile and SAFe methodologies, aligning stakeholder needs, and guiding vendor collaboration. What skills and experience we expect from you include a higher university degree (e.g., MSc or FM in information technology), experience as a product owner and/or project manager, practical experience with agile and SAFe development models, ability to lead multi-party development entities and prioritize with limited resources, experience managing backlogs, understanding of information system and data architecture, as well as data governance principles, ability to evaluate new technologies and technical solutions quickly in a changing environment, experience with public sector procurements and working in an international environment, experience in preparing and implementing architecture decisions and evaluating technical solutions, and the ability to guide and mentor technical staff. Your working style should be goal-oriented, solution-focused, with strong interpersonal skills, clear communication, and fluency in Finnish and English. You should be interested in adopting new technologies and working methods, enthusiastic about developing your professional skills, and open to new challenging tasks in a constantly changing environment. This role is not purely technical; it emphasizes ownership, leadership, and impact of development entities in collaboration with business, IT, and stakeholders.
