Excavator Operator Foreman

We are looking for foremen for excavator operators in Jyväskylä, and for work on civil engineering sites in Jyväskylä and Central Finland. The role suits you who enjoy outdoor work, hands‑on tasks, and want to build experience in the infrastructure and civil engineering field. As a foreman you will be the key partner to the excavator operator and assist with daily site tasks. Your duties include assisting at various stages of excavation, shoveling and finishing trenches, pulling cables and other supporting earthworks, and ensuring site safety and smooth operations. Workdays vary by site, offering variety and learning opportunities. We expect you to have full age and a valid safety card, good physical condition for outdoor work, proactive and careful work attitude, ability to work as part of the site team, prior experience in civil engineering is a plus, and owning a personal car to ease commuting to sites. We offer the opportunity to work in diverse civil engineering projects and gain practical experience in the Infra sector. Pay follows the infra sector collective agreement and depends on experience (14.25-16.42 €/h). You will receive quality work clothes and protective equipment and the Jyväskylä construction team’s support for the duration of your employment. Work sites are located in Jyväskylä and Central Finland, with most work happening on weekdays. Interested?
