Social Worker for Child Protection in Hollola - Medipower Oy - Hollola, Finland

We are seeking a temporary substitute for a supervisor in a small group home for child protection in Miekkiö, Hollola, from July 23 to August 10. Are you looking for meaningful work in child protection? You will work in a seven-bed small group home that provides high-quality and homely foster care for children and young people aged 7–18. You will have the opportunity to support the daily lives of children and young people as part of a skilled and committed team. Work tasks * Supporting and guiding children and young people in their daily routines * Educational work as part of a multidisciplinary team * Taking care of daily routines * Documentation and other work related to unit guidance Requirements * Degree in social services or practical nursing (a degree in social work is an advantage) * Experience in child protection work * Valid medication authorization * Good communication and cooperation skills * Driving license and driving experience are an advantage We offer * Temporary position from July 23 to August 10 * Varied shifts (morning, evening, night, and weekend shifts) * Approximately 100 working hours in total * Opportunity to work in a small and homely child protection unit * Salary of 17–18 €/h depending on experience and skills If you are interested, please submit your application as soon as possible and include your experience in child protection.
