Job Description
We are seeking two enthusiastic youth coaches to strengthen our team at a youth workshop. The positions are temporary and will be funded by project grants for the period from September 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, or as agreed. As a youth coach (2 different positions), - you will be responsible for the operations of the service work department and coach young people in café and kitchen activities as well as customer service skills, or - you will be responsible for the media work department and coach young people in various media-related topics, such as photography, video production, editing, and content creation basics. Your tasks include: - Planning youth coaching sessions according to objectives - Supporting and assisting young people in daily life management in collaboration with individual coaches - Guiding young people towards educational pathways - Coaching young people in work-life skills - Participating in cooperation with, for example, secondary schools - Contributing to the development of workshop activities, monitoring goals, and reporting. You have: - a youth- and customer-oriented, motivating, goal-oriented, and independent work approach - good organizational and collaboration skills - guidance, educational, and social skills - professional skills suitable for workshop production activities - spoken and written Finnish language skills - a B driver's license. The qualification requirement is a suitable secondary education degree and at least a social and health care or humanities and education professional qualification. A copy of the qualification certificate must be attached to the application. A 5-month probation period applies to the positions. Salary and employment terms are determined according to KVTES.
