Nivunki Village is located in Muonio, in a beautiful and peaceful setting on the shores of Nivunkijärvi. We offer our guests unique Arctic experiences in a tranquil environment. Nivunki Village consists of twenty traditional lodge-style accommodations, a cozy restaurant, and a sauna building. The history of the Nivunki estate dates back to the 1800s. Our guests value high quality, privacy, peace, and flexibility. Our target group is Western, especially Central European, adults. The restaurant at Nivunki Village serves some of the best food in the region. Seasonal, local ingredients, attractive presentation, and consistency are our hallmarks. The workday of a breakfast cook begins early in the morning and ends early in the afternoon, allowing time for skiing, sledding, or other activities after work. The workweek also includes weekend shifts. The role involves preparing and presenting breakfast buffets, replenishing supplies, and preparing breakfast dishes to order for guests. You will work flexibly in cooperation with other departments to ensure the best possible customer experience. Proficiency in English is required, as our team and guests are international, and as a breakfast cook, you will be in direct contact with guests. The fixed-term employment contract runs from early November 2026 to early April 2027. Minimum working hours are 90 hours per 3 weeks.
