Delivery Security Manager - Digia - Helsinki, Finland

Digia’s Financial Products business unit is looking for a Delivery Security Manager with a technical background. In this role, you will combine information security expertise with hands-on responsibilities in requirements analysis and/or architecture, contributing directly to the development of secure, high-quality financial software solutions. At Digia Financial Products (DiFS), we build and develop a modern, modular business platform for the financial sector. Our solutions support all core business functions: fund management, asset management, lending and borrowing, and trading and custody. It is one of the largest financial sector systems in the Nordic countries. Your role This is a hybrid role where approximately 50% of your work will focus on software and delivery security. The remaining part will be tailored to your background and interests, and may include responsibilities such as solution analysis, architecture, or quality assurance. In this role, you will act as a security expert supporting client projects throughout their lifecycle, from bid phase to delivery. You will help develop and maintain our ISO 27001 based information security management practices and carry out security and risk analyses for software products using methods such as FMEA or similar approaches. You will analyze and continuously improve API security in .NET-based solutions, both in locally hosted environments and in Azure, and ensure that security and data protection are embedded across architecture, development, and delivery. The role includes close collaboration with the Business Security Manager and the CSO Office in areas such as risk management, incident handling, audits, and continuity planning. In addition, you will participate in security steering groups, reporting, and continuous improvement activities, while also contributing to solution design, customer requirement analysis, and migration projects. You are encouraged to leverage AI-based tools and approaches to support ongoing security improvement and analytical work. What we expectMinimum 3+ years of experience in security.Strong understanding of ISO 27001 / ISMS practices.Experience with .NET environments, APIs, and secure software development.Familiarity with risk analysis methods (e.g., FMEA, threat modeling).Background in software development, architecture, or requirement analysis.Programming experience is a strong plus to understand technical security issues in depth.Ability to combine hands-on technical work with documentation and governance.Strong communication and collaboration skills in English and basic understanding of Finnish. This role requires a basic security clearance, which will be conducted for the selected candidate.
