The rehabilitation short-term care unit at Paukkula Home offers you, as a nurse, the opportunity to perform truly meaningful and varied nursing work with the elderly in rehabilitation. A recruitment bonus of 8% of the task-specific salary is available for the position for 6 months from the start of employment. Your tasks As a nurse, you will act as a nursing care expert in a 20-bed unit, where clients usually stay 1-2 weeks. Our unit supports home care and informal care clients by strengthening their functional capacity and ability to live at home as long as possible. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for tasks related to medication and nursing care, as well as planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing and health promotion activities. The work emphasizes a rehabilitative approach, customer orientation, and close cooperation with relatives. Long-term care group homes in the same building also operate, with whom we work closely. The duties also include supervising students. The work involves both physical and mental stress factors, but also offers opportunities for professional development and self-challenge. The work is on a 2-shift schedule, including some evening and weekend shifts. What we offer you You will receive individualized orientation and work in a team where you will never work alone. The qualification requirement for the position is a license as a registered nurse according to the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994).
