Job Description
Varsinais-Suomen Lastensuojelujärjestöt ry is a regional cooperation and expert organization founded in 2002, working in the social and health sector with children, youth, and families. The Linkki activity offers preventive and early support services for 10–18-year-olds, their parents, and families. The activity supports the well-being of adolescents during puberty, parenting, and family functioning. We are currently seeking an expert guide for the multidisciplinary Linkki team for a fixed-term position. The primary responsibilities include individual, family, and group client work within the Linkki activity, as well as some networking with partner organizations. Key tasks include providing individual discussion support to youth and parents, family meetings, and facilitating peer groups for youth and parents. The Linkki facilities are located at Perhetalo Heideken in Turku, but the role involves active outreach to schools and other meeting places in Turku and Southwest Finland. Client work is carried out flexibly on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., including remote work. The position requires a suitable higher education degree, for example in social, health, or educational fields. Experience working with youth and parents and familiarity with the service system are considered an advantage. Good interpersonal skills, flexibility, customer service orientation, goal-oriented approach, and strong interaction skills are essential. The role involves evening and mobile work, so owning a car is an advantage. Salary consists of 1) a task-specific component of €2811.29 and 2) a personal component (annual guaranteed and possible personal bonus). The working hours are 37.5 hours per week.
