Job Description

We are looking for a nurse for a substitute position at the Ruusula opioid substitution treatment clinic! Is it important to you to do work that truly has a purpose? We work as a multidisciplinary team where patients and employees work side by side, participating in the planning and development of operations. A positive and proactive attitude will help you in your work. You will encounter a lot of life's incompleteness, so good cooperation skills, the ability to listen and hear others, and solution-orientation will help you in your task. Your duties include implementing safe medication treatment and providing individual and group psychosocial support. We hope that the selected person can start in the position during September 2026. What kind of service do we offer patients? - Community and group activities: peer support and doing things together - Individual conversation support: unhurried encounters and walking alongside - Help with everyday matters: housing, benefits, and healthcare - Opioid substitution treatment safely and systematically Our way of operating: We meet the patient as a whole person, and treatment is always planned together with the patient. An individual and flexible treatment plan is made for each patient, which may include conversation support, group activities, medication, service guidance, and preparation for transitions to other services. Our multidisciplinary team includes nurses, a social worker, and a doctor. What we offer you? - A multidisciplinary team where no colleague is left behind - Day work, with working hours between 8 AM and 4 PM. The work occasionally includes weekend and holiday shifts. - Opportunity to develop your skills and influence the content of your own work - A wellbeing hour that enables the maintenance of working capacity and hobbies The Private Social Services sector collective agreement is applied in the position. A contractual salary is applied, which is determined based on the selected person's education, experience, and expertise. Our expectations of you: - Legal authorization in Finland according to the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994, 1200/2007) and registration in the social and health care professional register. - Valid medication permits (at least LOP and medication calculation). It is an advantage if you have also completed PSYK and KIPU1 permits. - Drug testing may be required from the selected person in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Privacy in Working Life (759/2004).
