Technology Risk & Internal Audit Trainee

Deloitte is seeking a Technology Risk & Internal Audit Trainee to join our Helsinki risk management and internal audit team. The role is project-based and consultative, with assignments shaped by client needs across various industries. You will work on internal controls, risk management, and assurance development, together with diverse client teams. During the trainee period you will focus on technology-driven internal audit assignments, risk management, controls, and governance development. Tasks include evaluating and testing controls and risk management practices, reviewing data, organizing and documenting interviews, drafting improvement proposals, and preparing report content. Over time you will take on broader responsibilities and progress toward more senior advisory tasks. The four-month trainee placement begins January 2027, with the aim of transitioning to a permanent contract after completion. The work can be performed in hybrid mode at our Helsinki office or at client sites, with occasional travel within Finland and abroad.
