Job Description

SUMMARY: Follow production specifications or instructions and monitor gauges, indicators, valves, flow relations, temperatures, pressures, computer systems, controls, and related guidelines to ensure compliance with production process specifications. Perform all work according to established safety procedures, conduct tests to verify production conditions, report malfunctions or anomalies, make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment, and maintain operation records and test reports. Activities include working safely, reviewing processes for continuous improvement, supporting safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives, assisting team members, and supporting project work. Responsibilities include operating manual, automatic, or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in continuous production, configuring machines requiring high precision, loading raw materials, controlling machine cycles, verifying work with measurement devices, conducting routine tests, reporting malfunctions, maintaining records, monitoring quality, adjusting configurations, practicing safety procedures, and understanding ISO 9000 procedures. Specific activities include reviewing base sheets, identifying materials, configuring machines, loading materials, verifying program loading, creating machine programs, testing chip positions, verifying against design, starting runs, maintaining input stacks, and passing materials to output pallets. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, over 2 years of experience, problem-solving skills, necessary licenses, ability to learn multiple functions, work in a fast-paced environment, teamwork experience, strong interpersonal, mathematical, and technical skills, motivation for safety, productivity, and quality, ability to work independently, and hazardous materials certification as an advantage.
