Job Description

In Finland, nearly 600 enthusiastic staff work in our 24 hypermarkets during peak season. In 2025, we opened new Biltema stores in Kouvola, Porvoo, and Lohja, with Hämeenlinna opening in February 2026, and our growth continues — the next stores are planned for Oulu, Joensuu, and Kokkola in autumn 2026. We are looking for energetic part-time salespeople for the Biltema Cafe Cart (6 positions) A concept-based Cafe Cart will be set up in the yard of Biltema Tampere, from which the Tampere Biltema Cafe operates. We are now seeking energetic and customer-oriented part-time salespeople to work mainly in the cafe cart, but also in the store if needed. Employment is permanent, and the Biltema Cafe Cart offers the following tasks: - 2 salespeople, 30 hours/week - In addition to regular cafe duties, responsibilities include managing orders, monitoring waste, maintaining the Self-Monitoring System, and overseeing the entire operation of the Biltema Cafe Cart in collaboration with the cashier, customer service, and cafe supervisor at Tampere Biltema. - 2 salespeople, 18 hours/week, and 2 salespeople, 12 hours/week - In the Cafe, ensure excellent customer service, operate the cash register, and prepare and display products for sale. - You may also work as a salesperson in the Tampere store, performing typical sales tasks: customer service both in the store and at service points, cash handling, unloading, shelving, and maintaining store cleanliness. We expect you to: - Have sales and customer service orientation and good interaction skills - Be of legal age to sell our products - Be willing to work all shifts: mornings, evenings, and weekends - Have a hygiene passport or willingness to obtain one. The employer regularly organizes hygiene passport training. - Have experience in retail customer service, and skills in cafe work and cash register operations are considered an advantage. - Be proficient in Finnish and/or Swedish to serve customers in all customer service situations. The hourly wage varies between €10.89 and €14.57, depending on experience and education. Overtime and weekend bonuses are paid based on hours worked. Interested?
