Located in Helsinki Käpylä, at Sato House, Restaurant Juniper is a haven for everyday gourmets, offering a tasty breakfast on weekdays, a hearty lunch, and café and takeaway treats. We also provide high-quality event services for both intimate gatherings and larger occasions. At Sato House, you will find versatile meeting rooms, and our restaurant hall can be transformed for private events for up to 120 people. Additionally, the celebration space on the sixth-floor viewing terrace offers a stunning setting for events of 20 people. Our parties and catering are of guaranteed quality, with Juvenes catering services bearing the Rotisseur badge as a mark of gastronomic excellence. We are seeking a skilled chef who masters kitchen skills confidently and, if needed, can also engage with customers in the dining area. You will become part of a small, warm-hearted team that values expertise, humor, and a positive attitude. Our team consists of three close-knit members, each of whom plays a significant role. The role offers a lot of responsibility but also daily successes, as our customers appreciate the quality food and good service, which is reflected in the daily work. Responsibilities include: - Preparing lunch dishes and daily kitchen tasks - Plating lunch and replenishing the buffet - Preparing products for meetings and events - Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and self-monitoring - Receiving goods and unloading deliveries - Participating in dishwashing during lunch hours - Customer service alongside the dining staff, including cash register use if needed We hope you have: - At least three years of experience in the restaurant industry - Responsible approach to kitchen work and waste management - Initiative and active work attitude - Willingness to also delight customers in the dining area and at the cash register The role requires a hygiene passport and proficiency in Finnish.
