Electronics Developer in Hardware - Etteplan Oyj - Remote - Global

In your role as an electronics developer at Etteplan in Linköping, you will work in cross-functional teams throughout the development chain. Your tasks include requirements specification, architecture, prototype development, and testing. Depending on the project, your work may involve analog or digital design, high-speed solutions, power design, test systems, or EMC adaptations. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in embedded programming, mechanics, and documentation to develop robust and reliable systems. The company has a well-equipped electronics lab with tools and measurement equipment for prototype bring-up, troubleshooting, and soldering, as well as a smaller EMC lab for pre-compliance measurements. The projects often involve sensor technology, motor control, and wireless communication, with solutions connected to apps or cloud services. Most projects are conducted in-house, but some work is on-site at customer locations. The work ranges from quick concept builds to smart sensor systems and strictly process-controlled projects for aerospace and military applications. You will have opportunities to participate in social activities such as monthly after-work events and larger annual gatherings. We seek candidates with a genuine technical interest, good collaboration skills, and customer focus. You are a bachelor or master engineer (or equivalent experience) with at least 2 years of experience in electronics development. You have worked with schematic and layout design, production documentation, and possibly electronics architecture. You are familiar with measurement tools like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and VNAs, and have experience with requirements management and cross-functional collaboration. Experience with E-CAD tools such as Altium, Xpedition, OrCAD, or PADS is required, with a preference for Altium. Additional meritorious skills include CE marking, RF design, circuit simulation, embedded programming (C, C++, Python), and experience with DFMEA, configuration management, or quality processes.
