Water Supply Facility Designer - SWECO

The water supply is one of society's most critical functions – its development builds a sustainable and functional future. Would you like to be involved in designing modern water supply solutions? We are now looking for a water supply facility designer to strengthen our team. The role involves working on water supply facility design as part of a knowledgeable design team and diverse projects. The work emphasizes practical design of facilities, combining layout, machinery, and piping design, as well as overall management. Responsibilities include layout, machinery, and piping design, dimensioning, procurement documents, control descriptions, instrumentation, PI diagrams, and data modeling of machinery and piping. The role requires independent work and responsibility for own design entities, active customer interface, understanding customer needs, and implementing solutions. Projects mainly focus on municipal water supply, but industrial water solutions may also be involved. Collaboration with colleagues and tailored job scope based on skills and interests are key. The work locations are across Finland, with possible offices in Helsinki, Tampere, or Turku. The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in municipal water plant design, maintenance, process, or industrial water design, Vertex Flow expertise, and good Finnish language skills.
