Welcome to join us at Rantakoti Residential Services Unit! Rantakoti is a 24-hour service housing unit for the elderly. It has 21 resident places, including three short-term care places and one crisis emergency place. In the Lapland Welfare Area, nursing work is guided by a rehabilitative approach and supporting residents' meaningful and personalized daily life. Important values guiding other activities are safety and humanity. Residents live in Rantakoti until the end of their lives. As a nurse, you will participate in daily care work as part of a multidisciplinary team and act as a nursing expert. The main tasks of a nurse include acting as a medication specialist, such as medication orders, doctor rounds, preparing care plans in collaboration with practical nurses, and participating in RAI assessments.
