Role We are looking for an electrical designer to work full-time on customer projects within our south and west teams, whose members are located in Helsinki, Turku, and Tampere. Currently, we are especially recruiting for projects in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The work is primarily hybrid, based at customer sites according to their hybrid work practices, with a goal to meet with the team once a month at Mecaplan’s office. Our assignments are often long-term and extensive, allowing you to delve deeply into the core activities of the customer organization and utilize your professional strengths. Typically, 1-2 Mecaplan employees work on the same project, sometimes in larger teams. Tasks are tailored to the individual, with the aim of long-term employment and opportunities for growth in different roles. The base salary for the position is approximately €3,500–€5,500 per month, depending on experience. We also have bonus systems and good employee benefits. Keys to success in the role We seek versatile professionals for our upcoming customer projects, whether you are an experienced electrical designer or have a few years of relevant experience with a good growth trajectory. A relevant degree in electrical engineering (electrical engineer or MSc) is required. Previous experience in electrical design for our client sectors and working in diverse environments is valued. You are proficient in creating electrical drawings using database-based design software such as Eplan, E3, CADS. You keep your skills up-to-date and are curious about new professional challenges. Fluency in English is required, and Finnish language skills are also preferred.
