School Assistant - Ilmajoen kunta - Ilmajoki, Finland

We are seeking a temporary school assistant for the municipality of Ilmajoki for the 2026-2027 school year. The role includes supporting students in need of assistance during lessons and, if necessary, guiding activities in the support services. Qualifications required are a vocational qualification in school assistance / guidance, a basic qualification in social and health care, or other applicable degree. The position requires perseverance, good communication skills, and an open mind. Basic knowledge of information and communication technology and experience working with students with special needs are considered an advantage. The role demands teamwork skills and flexibility. We also value change management skills, a willingness to learn new things, and a positive attitude. The employment will be subject to a trial period, which is half of the employment duration.
