Service Project Manager - Hitachi Energy - Remote - Global

The opportunity We are looking for a Service Project Manager to join our Service Business Unit at Hitachi Energy in Finland. You will partly work from your home office, but a big part of your work will be done at customer sites. Primary location is Vantaa. Alternatively, Tampere or Lahti may be considered with a remote setup. Other remote locations may also be considered based on the candidate’s qualifications. There will be travelling involved in Finland and Sweden. In this role you will manage service contracts and handle communication between customers and the service team. You will coordinate and agree on the required service activities with both the customer and the maintenance team. This is a versatile role that allows you to lead service work at site as well as execute practical service work yourself. Currently, the role focuses on managing service agreements, including key clients in the Espoo/Helsinki area. In addition, you will act as a project manager for service projects, including substation refurbishment and high-voltage compensation delivery and upgrade projects. Customer communication, reporting and invoicing are part of the work. The role includes also some small-scale sales and preparation of offers relating to service contracts.
