Join Hyria! We encourage enthusiasm and success. We are seeking a teacher in the surface treatment field for a permanent position in Hyvinkää starting August 3, 2026. The role includes teaching vocational subjects related to the basic qualification in surface treatment, guiding work-based learning, and developing education in the field. As a teacher, you will work with students studying surface treatment. You will teach and guide future professionals on campus, online, and in other learning environments. You will support learners towards employment and further studies. You will have the opportunity to utilize your professional skills and to plan and develop training to better meet the needs of working life and learners. In addition to teaching, your tasks include personalizing studies to meet individual needs, monitoring progress, guiding work-based learning, assessing skills, and collaborating with industry partners. You will use diverse teaching methods and environments, incorporating digital tools and technology to enhance learning. Your duties also include multidisciplinary cooperation to support students' studies and well-being, and communication with guardians for minor learners. The work is mainly daytime, with the primary location in Hyvinkää. You are the right candidate if you have relevant education in the field and extensive practical experience in various tasks within the industry. Strong skills in painting and surface treatment are required. Experience in teaching and guidance, as well as good industry contacts, are considered advantages.
