Creo Center is a multidisciplinary product development partner for organizations seeking success through new innovations or by advancing existing products. Our extensive service portfolio enables us to offer high-quality design for various industry-specific product development projects and to serve as a strategic partner for both local and international companies. Our clients mainly include top product development organizations, leading manufacturing companies, and startups developing innovative product ideas. Thanks to our growth and internationalization, we are pioneers in several service areas within our industry, and our goal is to grow and develop further into one of the most significant product development organizations in the Nordic countries, both in product development and in implementing product development-driven digital transformation. We are now looking for **mechanical designers** to work with modern technologies and innovative solutions in Tampere! At Creo Center, we carry out design work broadly across different industries, and currently, we are seeking mechanical designers specializing in steel structure design and precision mechanics! **Steel Structure Design** In this role, you will be responsible for designing various steel structure projects, from conceptualization to technical implementation and supervision of manufacturing. The design emphasizes strength, manufacturability, and ease of installation, as well as the integration of mechanics and automation. You will have the opportunity to work on interesting product development projects and contribute to the development of production equipment for leading domestic industrial companies. To succeed in this role, we expect you to have experience in designing heavy steel structures and understanding manufacturing techniques, welded structures, and requirements related to manufacturability. Prior experience in integrating mechanics and automation is considered an advantage, as well as knowledge of electrical and automation components. You have a practical approach to design and a genuine interest in developing new solutions. **Precision Mechanics Design** In this role, you will develop precise technical solutions for high-tech products. The work includes conceptualization and prototype manufacturing, emphasizing accuracy and meticulous planning, as well as analytical problem-solving skills. We are primarily looking for someone with previous experience in designing precision mechanical solutions and integrating mechanics and electronics. You understand the specific features of precision mechanics and are familiar with the properties of different materials and manufacturing techniques. You are solution-oriented and capable of understanding technically demanding entities, as well as adopting new technologies. You are a strong 3D CAD user and have an educational background as a mechanical or mechatronics engineer / DI. Since product development is always carried out in close collaboration with colleagues and clients, we value strong teamwork skills, openness, extroversion, and good communication skills in both Finnish and English. **Why choose Creo Center?** At Creo Center, you will become part of an innovative and expert community of product developers, where we focus on developing employees’ skills and support your work with the latest tools and software. As employee benefits, we offer a lunch benefit, phone benefit, commuting benefit or company bike, extended occupational health services at Aava, and comprehensive accident insurance for leisure time. Because we believe in shared success, we have a company-wide People-bonus, under which we share a portion of our annual profit with our employees. Our modern premises provide an inspiring environment with contemporary design and an open atmosphere conducive to good work. If you want to be involved in creating future technical solutions, please apply as soon as possible, but no later than **Sunday, 31 May 2026**, and we will contact you. We review applications during the application period and make a decision as soon as a suitable candidate is found. Our mechanical design positions are permanent, full-time, and start according to agreement. If you wish to discuss the role in more detail, our Department Manager Tomi Hänninen is available by phone at 050 4000 320.
