Job Description
UTAC Automotive Testing Finland Oy, founded in 1924, is a leading expert in vehicle testing operating globally in ten countries. UTAC Finland, part of the UTAC group, is an independent growth company specializing in vehicle, tire, and component testing, offering year-round winter conditions at two test centers in Ivalo, with outdoor test tracks and indoor testing halls for international clients. We are seeking a Finance Coordinator to strengthen our finance team in various financial management coordination and expert tasks. The role involves ensuring smooth financial processes, accuracy, and compliance with regulations and standards. Responsibilities include budgeting, financial reporting, audits, financial analysis, tax-related tasks, and monitoring investments and procurements. You will work closely with UTAC Finland’s finance team and the group’s financial management. Key Responsibilities include assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes, conducting analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, ensuring correct recording of financial transactions in financial systems, participating in developing and implementing financial management practices and processes, collaborating with other departments in collecting and interpreting financial data, managing supplier relationships and tasks related to accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, supporting management on financial matters, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of organizational practices, financial legislation, and taxation, assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes and annual audits, and participating in various financial management projects and analyses. What We Expect from You includes relevant higher education degree (e.g., finance, accounting, or finance), at least 2 years of experience in financial management or accounting tasks, good accounting and financial analysis skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Maestro), excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, precise and systematic work approach, good communication and collaboration skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, fluent Finnish and good English skills. Additional Skills Appreciated include attention to detail and accuracy, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, initiative and a development-oriented attitude, interest in developing financial processes.
