Job Description
Helsingin kaupungin asunnot Oy is responsible for the management, maintenance, and cleaning of Heka's properties in different areas. In the Eastern area, we ensure high-quality and smooth living for 12,000 apartments. Are you a professional in property maintenance capable of handling repair, maintenance, and service tasks indoors and outdoors? Do you master Wille environment maintenance machines and the tools used with them? We are looking for two maintenance foremen to take care of our properties. As a maintenance foreman, you will be part of our property maintenance team. In this independent role, you will be responsible for the usability, safety, and cleanliness of outdoor areas of the properties. Typical tasks include snow plowing, gritting, leaf removal, and other yard maintenance tasks. The work is highly autonomous, requiring a responsible work attitude and initiative. The maintenance foreman also participates in the versatile tasks of the property caretaker, supporting repair and maintenance work. We value readiness to participate in maintenance on-call duties. We require from you: Previous experience in similar tasks and familiarity with the machines used in property maintenance A positive attitude and good work motivation Proactive work approach and ability to take responsibility for your area and tasks Customer service orientation General manual skills applicable in property maintenance A driving license (B) A background in property management education and other technical property maintenance skills are considered a significant advantage. You can also complete the property caretaker vocational qualification alongside your work. Work methods and tools are evolving, and our staff can train while working if they wish. Salary and other employment terms are determined according to the YTES collective agreement for the corporate sector of KT. The minimum base salary for a person starting in this role is €2,354.70/month. Experience pay is also paid if the employee has at least 5 years of relevant work experience, amounting to 5% per 5 years and 10% per 10 years of experience.
