HSE Manager for Factory Site in Northern Sweden - Rentop Oy, Pohjois-Ruotsi - Turku, Finland

SSAB is building a new Mini Mill steel plant in Luleå, Sweden, which is one of Europe's most interesting industrial projects and a significant step towards fossil-free steel production. Lifting professionals from Kurko Projects are carrying out the lifting and installation work for the project. We are now looking for an experienced HSE Manager to be responsible for Kurko Projects' health, safety, and environmental matters in Swedish projects. Core of your work: - ensure that our operations comply with Swedish legislation and the client's HSE requirements - prepare risk assessments and task-specific method statements (RAMS) together with site management - support and guide site supervisors and foremen in safety matters - monitor and report safety KPIs - investigate deviations and ensure that lessons are learned - act as the contact person for the client's HSE organization What we hope for from you? - experience in HSE roles from industrial or construction sites - ability to work independently in a demanding client environment - fluent English language skills - Swedish language skills and experience working in Sweden are considered a strong advantage - Bas-P or Bas-U training or willingness to complete the training with the employer's support - a firm yet people-oriented approach and the ability to build trust on site _The position requires the right to work in Sweden_ What we offer? - the opportunity to work in one of Europe's most interesting industrial projects - a responsible and independent role in a demanding international project - the opportunity to develop Kurko Projects' HSE operations over the long term - a straightforward work community with experienced lifting professionals - a flexible working model – rotation work is possible, and your place of residence does not need to be in Luleå - travel and accommodation arranged by the employer Interested?
