Job Description
Gustavelund is a cozy hotel and conference venue located on the shores of Lake Tuusula, combining natural tranquility, Nordic design, and modern services. We are looking for a skilled and versatile restaurant chef for a permanent position. In Gustavelund's kitchen, food is largely prepared from scratch, allowing you to work with high-quality ingredients and utilize your professional skills extensively. The job offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in an environment that values handcrafted food and overall management. You will work in the hotel kitchen, responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch, and à la carte dishes. Your duties also include buffet service, order fulfillment, and event catering. During the summer season, you will participate in preparing grilled foods on the terrace. The daily operations of the hotel kitchen require flexibility, as the work covers a wide range of kitchen functions from breakfast service to à la carte and formal events. This allows you to work across various services and apply your skills in diverse situations. What we expect from you - Experience in kitchen work and readiness to perform various tasks, such as lunch and à la carte. - Genuine interest in the varied daily life of a hotel kitchen. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Hygiene passport. - Fluent Finnish language skills. The working hours are 112.5 hours in a three-week cycle. Shifts are scheduled from Monday to Sunday and vary from early mornings to late evenings. Salary is determined according to Marava Collective Agreement. The final salary level depends on your skills and experience. The work will start as agreed, as soon as possible, and the employment contract will be made between the employee and StaffPoint.
