Job Description
PP KAHVILAT OY is looking for employees for the Lappeenranta swimming hall. We will start providing ticket sales and café services for the Lappeenranta city from August 3. In the Lappeenranta swimming hall, we will offer diverse and high-quality café services, including catering and meeting services. We will also handle ticket sales and customer service for the swimming hall for the City of Lappeenranta. The swimming hall is open from August to June, seven days a week. Working hours are approximately 6 am to 9 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 7 pm on weekends. Your tasks include preparing, presenting, and selling café products, as well as maintaining cleanliness of the premises. Additionally, your duties include ticket sales at the swimming hall and guiding customers in the services offered. The café offers a wide selection of products, from small snacks to more substantial meals. We bake our delicious buns and croissants ourselves, and the selection also includes sports products. We prepare hot lunches and various catering services for teams/groups upon order, for events held at the swimming hall and sports hall. We value a cheerful customer service attitude, initiative, and resilience under pressure. The work may involve working alone at times, as well as with the team. You should be comfortable working independently and in a team. We expect you to develop your own activities based on constructive feedback. Previous experience in customer service is required; formal education in the field is an advantage. You will also be responsible for baking and filling products like buns and baguettes, as well as baking/cooking café items, so kitchen skills are necessary. We are also looking for at least one person with kitchen skills familiar with preparing meals in a lunch kitchen. The employment is permanent and begins in the week of August 3, so please send your application as soon as possible. We hope you are willing to work evenings and weekends. We are hiring approximately 3-5 people with different hourly contracts. We follow the collective agreement of the PAM Hospitality and Restaurant sector, which determines the salary. However, salary can be negotiated to be above the collective agreement based on previous work experience. Besides salary, we offer a flexible and developing workplace with opportunities for advancement within the organization.
