Tendering Engineer, remote work, Finland - Academic Work

In this role, you will focus on operational bid calculation and technical analysis related to building automation (BMS). You will work closely with sales and production to ensure that proposals are technically and financially accurate. We are primarily looking for potential and the right attitude – you do not need to be a senior-level calculator, as comprehensive training will be provided. The work can be done flexibly remotely, but a training period of about a week and occasional team face-to-face meetings will take place either in Tampere or Helsinki. This is an operational expert role combining technical understanding and precise numerical work in local customer projects. Reviewing bid request materials and technical documents, reading and interpreting building automation (BMS) circuit diagrams, bid calculation for projects and maintenance contracts, reporting and managing proposals in Salesforce system, close communication with the sales team and the Finnish production organization, participation in Nordic team meetings, utilization of company-specific calculation software. Basic understanding or experience in building automation (BMS), good circuit diagram reading skills, fluent Finnish and good English language skills, precise, analytical, and reliable work approach, good communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders. Experience with CAD software, previous experience with Salesforce system, background in installation, commissioning, or design tasks related to building automation are appreciated.
