We are looking for several coaters / industrial painters for the summer season in Kilpilahti. We are seeking several industrial painters for the Kilpilahti industrial area from spring to autumn. The work is suitable for both experienced professionals and skilled vocational students or recent graduates. Work schedule - Starting in early June - The season is expected to last until the end of September, possibly longer - Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00-15:30 - In September, Kilpilahti will have a maintenance shutdown, which may involve longer workdays and possibly weekend work What does the work of an industrial painter involve? The work of an industrial painter involves protecting surfaces and finishing in demanding conditions. Tasks vary depending on the project and include, among others: - Pre-treatment of steel and pipe surfaces - (washing, degreasing, mechanical cleaning) - Sandblasting and rust removal - Anti-corrosion treatments according to industrial standards - Painting of pipes, tanks, and structures - (with roller, brush, and spray painting) - Spot painting at maintenance and repair sites - Considering paint film thicknesses and work quality The work is often performed: - at heights (scaffolding, lifts) - in tight spaces (pipe bridges, tanks) - in varying weather and working conditions on industrial sites Safety is a top priority Work takes place in a demanding industrial environment, so safety and adherence to instructions are central to daily work. You will receive an orientation to the tasks and work as part of an experienced team. What do we expect from you? - At least 18 years of age - Valid safety card - Vocational training or previous experience in surface treatment / industrial painting - Careful work attitude and responsible approach - Readiness for physical work The client also provides thorough orientation and guidance, so even if you do not have experience yet, you are encouraged to apply.
