Job Description At Vierumäki, we produce thermal energy for the factory’s production and district heating customers. As a boiler operator, you ensure that the bio-boiler producing process heat operates smoothly and without disruptions. You monitor the boiler temperature and feed shell into the boiler using a wheel loader as fuel. The job also includes various maintenance tasks. The working hours are continuous three-shift work and day shifts according to a rotation schedule. You are also responsible for maintaining a clean work environment and ensuring safety for yourself and your colleagues. Skills Success in this role requires the desire and ability to work independently and safely in a responsible position, along with technical skills acquired through education or experience. We hope you are proactive, conscientious, and cooperative. Your attitude towards work, safety, and the work community should be positive. If you are not yet an experienced boiler operator, we will teach you the job, and your colleagues will support you. No previous experience is required for this position.
