About the role

We are looking for a Group Category Manager for Digital to lead procurement strategies, optimize supplier performance, and create sustainable value in Polestar's digital procurement landscape. The role involves leading a team responsible for categories of indirect goods and services, guiding strategic assessments, category planning, and sourcing activities, while driving procurement initiatives through spend analysis, contract management, and supplier exploration. The position is based at Polestar HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden, with a hybrid work model. Responsibilities include developing category roadmaps, driving cost optimization, building stakeholder relationships, leading and developing a procurement team, and providing insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate has a university degree (preferably Master’s), 10+ years of experience including leadership, extensive category management and digital procurement expertise, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication in English. The process may be slower due to summer holidays.
