Occupational Health Nurse (fixed-term)

We are Mehiläinen, and we search for an occupational health nurse for a fixed-term substitution in Äänekoski. The occupational health nurse role is interesting, continuously evolving, varied and diverse, allowing you to get to know many professions and industries through corporate clients and their employees. As an occupational health nurse you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth implementation of the occupational health processes (e.g., workplace assessments, action plans, health examinations) for assigned client companies and promote employees’ working capacity in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The work is not monotonous; you will be able to plan varied weeks and develop your clients’ occupational health activities. You will work independently, but you will never be alone, as you have the support of colleagues and your team. You will also have extensive training opportunities throughout your career according to your interests, and easy-to-use digital tools help you perform. We expect you to have nursing education in health care. You can be a newly graduated or an experienced professional; the most important is genuine customer orientation, enthusiasm for promoting workplace well-being and interest in developing your own work. A training in occupational health care accreditation is advantageous. You will need to be assessable under the Communicable Diseases Act. The position is a fixed-term substitution from 11 November 2026 to 31 October 2027.
