As an Audit Manager, you will work in a key function of the wellbeing area's external supervision under the Audit Board of the Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county. Under the Audit Board, you will lead the external audit unit, acting as the presenter and preparer for the Audit Board and as the supervisor for the performance auditor. The Audit Manager is responsible for matters coming before the Audit Board - you assist the board in auditing and evaluation tasks of operations and finances according to the work program approved by the board. The duties of the Audit Manager are defined in section 87 of the administrative regulations of the Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county. The chairperson of the Audit Board serves as the supervisor of the Audit Manager. Eligibility requirements for the position are a higher university degree suitable for the task and good familiarity with administrative and financial audit tasks as well as public administration audit activities. The performance of the duties requires excellent Finnish language skills and satisfactory Swedish language skills, as well as interaction and cooperation skills. Knowledge of external auditing and evaluation, previous experience as a presenter or preparer for a trust body, working with an audit board, and supervisory work are considered an advantage. Remuneration follows HYVTES regulations. A security clearance may be carried out for the selected person with their consent. The purpose of the Audit Board's evaluation work is to produce added value to support the decision-making of the regional council. The Audit Board evaluates the implementation of annual goals set by the regional council in the budget or approved programs and informs the council of the results of its evaluation. The Audit Manager operates under the Audit Board and leads the external audit unit. In addition to the Audit Manager, the unit includes one performance auditor.
