Director of Software Security - Cadence - Remote - Global

Cadence is seeking a Director of Software Security to lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of secure software development practices across the enterprise. The role involves driving DevSecOps transformation, ensuring compliance with frameworks like CMMC, and embedding security throughout the software lifecycle. Responsibilities include defining enterprise DevSecOps strategy, integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines, establishing secure microservices and cloud-native architectures, leading threat modeling, ensuring regulatory compliance, securing cloud platforms, building application security programs, managing supply chain security, and influencing organizational security culture. The ideal candidate has 12-15+ years in cybersecurity, with leadership experience, deep expertise in secure SDLC, cloud-native architectures, and regulatory frameworks, and hands-on experience with security tools. Certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, CISM, or CCSP are preferred.
